Our wheelchair accessible dude ranch has a ramp for wheelchairs or riders needing extra assistance so that mounting the horse will be almost as easy as getting in a car.
Because the founder’s oldest daughter Amy is in a wheelchair, we have first hand knowledge of the needs of our disabled guests. Stagecoach Trails ranch has been designed and built to be fully handicapped accessible. This gives us the unique ability to offer a completely barrier-free vacation to all disabled travelers and their families. Stagecoach Trails has been a pioneer in offering this unparalleled travel opportunity to all our guests with special needs. All buildings and outdoor areas were built with the disabled concerns in mind. We took extra care to assure there are no barriers anywhere at our ranch.
To assure safety, all riders with special needs will take their first ride in our small arena so their riding ability can be assessed before going out on the trails.
We want everyone to experience riding a horse no matter what their disability is. Our wranglers and our horses are well-trained and have a warm and caring disposition so that each riding experience will be enjoyable. For the safety of our disabled guests and staff we have a 170 lbs weight limit for guests with disabilities to ride horses.

We have found that people who have never ridden before, have found that riding our horses is easy and exhilarating. Our guest ranch borders over 360,000 acres of natural western desert beauty that is at the foot of the Mohave and Hualapai mountains. As a result, it is the perfect location to spend time with your family in a setting that is peaceful and serene. In the evening you can watch incredible sunsets while sitting in the courtyard swings next to family members. At night you can sing songs around the campfire or roast marshmallows.
